Chad Lowe and his family are grieving.
The 9-1-1: Lone Star actor and younger brother of Rob Lowe disclosed the devastating news that Fiona, the 13-year-old daughter whom he and wife Kim Painter share, has died.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the family, which also includes daughters Mabel, 17, and 10-year-old Nixie, said in a statement to PEOPLE. They called the teen “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents” the statement continued. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

They added, “Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”
