Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Davante Adams had another signature night in his team's 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos. The All-Pro dazzled against 2024 Defensive Player of the Year Pat Surtain II, recording seven catches for 137 yards.

However, he was not in the mood to celebrate after the game due to the final result. A trusted team-first veteran, Adams spoke about the situation, stating that he isn't panicking after a 1-2 start to the year. Acknowledging there are no moral wins in the NFL, Adams' confidence comes from the success they had in the game, knowing they have the tools to put games away moving forward.

“I mean, it’s nothing to freak out about," said Adams. "There’s a lot of football left, and it’s not like we’re not playing good ball – obviously, excluding that first game. Unfortunately – I mean, I don’t know if it’s unfortunate, but based on our situation, unfortunately, this league is about wins and losses, so there’s a lot that we can take from a game like this and feel good about. But there’s no moral victories, so we’re definitely disappointed to not finish it out. But just to get back to what we do, and that’s going back to practice, get back to the drawing board and just find a way to finish off something again.”

Voted a team captain this season, Adams has been a bright spot for a Rams squad littered with injuries. With a trip to Philadelphia on the horizon, the league-leader in touchdown receptions last season looks to achieve three straight games with at least 100 receiving yards for the first time as a Ram this Sunday. He hasn't hit that mark since 2022.
