Dwayne Wade is paying wife Gabrielle Union a compliment for knowing how to "mix different scents and different lotions."
The former NBA pro praised his partner of 18 years for being able to pinpoint "the scents that kind of arouse me a little bit."
Wade and Union were married in 2014, and share daughter Kaavia James Union Wade, three of Wade's children from previous relationships, and Dahveon Morris, Wade's nephew.

The former NBA pro and current co-owner of the Utah Jazz recently praised his wife of 12 years for a very particular trait: her olfactory intelligence.
"I love that she will mix different scents and different lotions," Wade told PEOPLE on Thursday, at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City. "She knows what I like to smell. She knows like the scents that kind of arouse me a little bit."

"I love when I smell it, I know that it's going to be a good night for us," Wade continued. "Like we're going to go out to dinner, we're going to have a good night, and she got that scent on she knows I love, and I can't keep my hands off of her."

After a long career in sports that began when he played with the Marquette Golden Eagles in college, Wade has since moved into executive leadership in the NBA, as well as entrepreneurship. One of those ventures is Intuition, a men's fragrance line by Aramis to which Wade has lent his face.
Wade was introduced to Union through his brothers, who met Union on an elevator at a party hosted by Prince in 2007. She was fresh off her divorce from NFL running back Chris Howard and has spoken about it not being love at first sight with Wade.
"When I met Dwyane, his 'resume' looked like crap: athlete, going through a divorce, nine years younger than me," she told Glamour in 2014. "None of that screamed, 'Let's have a lasting relationship.'"
But they began dating in 2008, were married in 2014, and are now coparents of 7-year-old daughter Kaavia James Union Wade. The pair also cooperatively raise Wade's two adult children with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, and his 11-year-old with ex Aja Metoyer. In 2014, Wade also became the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, who is now 22.
