Halle Berry is more laser focused than ever, and her costars know it.

"They just know that I have reached a stage in my life where I have zero f---s to give," Berry told E! News on the red carpet at Crime 101's Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 10, when the outlet said her cast mates think she would be best equipped to pull off a real-life heist. "They know that I would try it. Why not? I have no more f---s to give."

The Oscar winner was also asked about her efforts to support women both inside and outside of Hollywood.

"I don't know if it's been my message, but I know I've been clear of the importance of this message and this time that I find myself [in]," she told the outlet. "I refuse to go away and disappear and fall off into obscurity. I'm getting on my second act and I'm excited for that, so I'm just doing my part. That's all."

On X, Berry has told fans she has nine new movie and TV projects in the works, writing that she is "so ready for this next chapter." In another post she teased, "been a little busy... so excited for this second act in film and TV."

Berry, 59, stars with Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte in Crime 101, a Los Angeles-set heist movie that "weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Hemsworth, 42) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police," a synopsis teases.

"When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Berry) who is facing her own crossroads," the synopsis adds. "Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Ruffalo, 58) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back."

In April 2025, Hemsworth told E! News during an interview at CinemaCon that he initially felt "intimidated" to work with Berry on the movie after admiring her acting "for many, many years."

"Certain people just bring out not just the best in you, but also sort of a comfort level where it feels like it's a place to explore and it's a place to examine different ideas and try different things. And that was the experience [with Berry]," Hemsworth said at the time. "I loved every second of it."
