Andie MacDowell's daughters take after her in many ways.
The actress, who celebrates her 68th birthday on April 21, 2026, welcomed two daughters with her ex-husband Paul Qualley: Sarah Margaret (who goes by her middle name), born in 1994, and Rainey Qualley, born in 1989. (They also share a son, Justin, born in 1986.) Her daughters grew up watching their working mother, and they later followed in her footsteps. Rainey made her film debut opposite MacDowell in 2012's Mighty Fine, while Margaret starred in Gia Coppola's 2013 coming-of-age Palo Alto. In 2021, Margaret and MacDowell costarred in the Netflix limited series Maid.
"They were really proud of me," the Sex, Lies, and Videotape star said of her kids. "I think that gave me the opportunity to show them that being able to work and be a successful mother is something that you can accomplish."
