Jennifer Aniston is offering ex-husband Justin Theroux her support as he celebrates becoming a parent.

Theroux, 54, and wife Nicole Brydon Bloom, 32, have welcomed their first child together, the couple announced in a joint Saturday Instagram post.

"He’s here. We are so in love," they captioned a black-and-white photo of Theroux with the newborn baby on his chest. The photo of their baby boy was met with love from fans and loved ones alike, including a certain *Friends* actress.

Aniston, who was married to Theroux from 2015 to 2018, "liked" the Saturday post.

The social media support is nothing new for the former couple. Though they announced their split in 2018, the two actors have remained in touch and maintained a close friendship. Recent years have seen the posts birthday tributes to one another and occasionally speak about their lasting friendship in the press.

In 2024, Theroux told the U.K's *The Times* that he still feels "protective" of Aniston, adding, "She is still very dear to me."

Aniston and Theroux first met in 2007 and eventually reconnected on the set of 2011's *Wanderlust*. A year later they were engaged, and by 2015, wed in a backyard ceremony. When they split three years later, the statement read, "This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship... Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

Since going their separate ways, Aniston has begun dating hypnotherapist and coach, Jim Curtis.

As for Theroux, his baby news comes more than a year after he and Bloom tied the knot in a laid-back beach wedding in Tulum, Mexico, in March 2025. Photos from their big day saw Theroux in a cream-colored tuxedo, while Bloom matched in a white, flowy dress.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in February 2023 and months later, were photographed kissing in a New York City restaurant. That same year, during a May chat with *Esquire*, Theroux reflected on his highly publicized marriage to Aniston and shared that he prefers to keep his relationship with Bloom private.

"There’s something to, once you’re out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in," he said. "And I’m not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen — I don’t talk about Jen. People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance."

He added, "Having been in a public relationship, it’s much more fun not being in a public relationship."
