Jennifer Garner celebrated Father's Day with rare photos of Ben Affleck.

The *Five Star Weekend** *actress paid tribute to her late father, William Garner, and her ex-husband in a sweet Instagram post featuring throwback pictures.

"My sisters and I loved to spoil our dad; he never wanted for fresh baked cookies or a bowl of ice cream. I see the way my kids dote on their dad and I’m happy for them. To love and be loved by a great dad is a gift," she wrote.

"Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and to the kids of dads, too. ♥️"

The photos included Affleck in his Batman mask with their son, and another shot of him posing with their two oldest children.

She also shared an image of Garner's father on a boat reading a book, and a picture of her and her sisters enveloping him in a hug. He died in March 2024 at 85.

"There is so much to say about my dad— my sisters and I will never be done talking about how wonderful he was, so bear with us— but for today I share these memories with my appreciation for the kind and brilliant man, father, and grandfather he was, as well as the loving legacy he left behind," she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 and split in 2015, and share three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.

In January, Garner spoke about "the hardest thing" about her and Affleck's divorce: the public interest in their family. "Not hard in the grand scheme of what is hard in the world, but tricky for me and tricky for my family," she told *Marie Claire UK*.

She and Affleck co-parent amicably. The *Good Will Hunting *actor told *GQ** *in March 2025 about their relationship.

"I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well."

Garner has been dating dating businessman John Miller since her divorce from Affleck was finalized in 2018. Affleck married former flame Jennifer Lopez in 2022. Lopez filed for divorce in 2024, finalizing it the following year.
