Jeremy Clarkson considers himself the "world's luckiest man" following his recent health struggles.
The 66-year-old television presenter and Clarkson's Farm star has undergone two emergency surgeries in less than a year for his heart and for prostate cancer. In a recent profile by The Sunday Times, published June 20, Clarkson saidhe's immensely grateful to have survived both.
"I've cheated death twice," he said, adding, "I am without a doubt, officially, the world's luckiest man."

The TV presenter revealed his previous cancer diagnosis on the June 17 episode of Clarkson's Farm, noting that a biopsy determined his cancer was "aggressive," but in the "really early" stages. According to the BBC and Sky News, the episode was filmed some time between 2024 and 2025.
He later underwent surgery to have a portion of his prostate removed, per The Independent. Clarkson said 10% of the organ was "dead," which was the part that was removed in the procedure.
In a clip from the Clarkson's Farm episode, taken from his hospital bed after his procedure, Clarkson revealed parts of his treatment had gone "awry."

“I'm going to be here for a little while … I don't know what's going to happen," Clarkson said in the clip. "If this is all successful, I'll see you for season 6. And if it isn't, I won't.”
Reflecting on his recent health scare, Clarkson told The Times he's aware how crucial it was that they discovered the cancer early on. Had he left it until later, the cancer could have been far worse, he said.
“It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread," he told The Times. "It could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble.”

“This is why I have to say to everybody who's reading this, please, please, please go and get checked. It's not uncomfortable, it's not undignified. And it's a no-brainer," Clarkson added. "I did, and that's why I'm sitting here talking to you 11 months down the line."
News of his cancer diagnosis came on the heels of his heart surgery in October 2024. He'd written in The Sunday Timesthat "of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way," which the procedure was intended to fix.
Clarkson recalled thinking during the procedure, "Crikey, that was close."
