JoJo turned heads with a fierce lingerie dressing moment at the 2026 VMAs on September 27.
The “Leave (Get Out)” singer put her abs on display in a plunging black triangle bra and a matching skirt encrusted with crystals.

JoJo surprised fans with her first VMAs appearance in a decade as she kicked off the star-studded arrivals on September 27. While it’s been 10 years since the “Too Little Too Late” singer last graced a VMAs red carpet, she expertly pulled off a bedazzled lingerie dressing moment while baring her torso in nothing but a shimmering triangle bra.

As she posed at the Peacock Theater venue, JoJo showed off her abs and back in the plunging black bra, which featured a strappy halterneck design and was bejeweled with diamond-shaped black sparkling sequins. The 35-year-old singer, whose birth name is Joanna Levesque, complemented her barely-there top with a floor-length black column skirt, which was encrusted with swirls of black and clear crystals around her hips, along her waistline, and down the front.
JoJo kept the multi-watt sparkle going with intricate pavé diamond bracelets and diamond cocktail rings. She added some major height to her stature with towering black peep-toe stilettos, which featured a rhinestone trim at the bottom of her platforms.

JoJo showed off her ombré blonde and brunette hair in effortless middle-parted waves, adding pops of brightness with shorter money pieces around her face. She accentuated her features with a smoky gunmetal gray eyeshadow, visible freckles, and a soft petal pink flush on her cheeks and lips.

The “Baby It’s You” singer isn’t up for any VMAs this year, but she was previously nominated for the Best New Artist in a Video category at just 13 for her breakout hit “Leave (Get Out).” JoJo last attended the VMAs in 2016, making a bold sartorial statement in sheer lace on the red carpet at Madison Square Garden. The “Too Much To Say” singer embraced the peekaboo lingerie trend at the time, showing off a glimpse of her nude bra under a sheer black lace long-sleeved top.
JoJo gilded her look with a pair of shimmering gold wide-legged lace pants, which showed off a glimpse of her pointed-toe black sparkly stilettos. Styling her long auburn-highlighted brunette hair in mermaid waves, the star leaned into the 24K theme with two gold chain choker necklaces, chunky gold bracelets, and gold cocktail rings.
