Judy Sheindlin, a.k.a. Judge Judy is passing the gavel to her son.
On Wednesday, Paramount announced that Sheindlin's son Adam Levy will lead his own courtroom show and join CBS Media Ventures' lineup of successful daytime series. Levy, a former two-term district attorney who has been a judge on Amazon's *Tribunal* *Justice* and *Justice on Trial*, is hosting the new syndicated court series, *Adam's Law.*
The network promises that a "fierce, unfiltered and dedicated" Levy will tackle "making the justice system fair... like his legendary mother" after having "dedicated his career to ferreting out the truth."

*Adam's Law* will be produced by Sheindlin's Queen Bee Productions and CBS Media Ventures, with Sheindlin and Roland Tieh serving as executive producers for the series. The series is part of a revamped syndicated lineup, which has also acquired the rights to *America's Funniest Home Videos* and is launching a spinoff *American Mayhem*.
"Adam is a spectacular lawyer. As a judge, his search for the truth is unparalleled," the iconic host of *Judge Judy* said in a statement. "In a justice system where the truth is often diminished by the lazy or inept, Adam is the gold standard for judicial excellence."

On Nov. 1, 2021, a spinoff series called *Judy Justice* debuted on Amazon Freevee, marking the first time a traditional courtroom show debuted exclusively on a streaming platform. The series has run for three seasons, with its most recent season concluding on Oct. 24, 2024.
