Kanye West’s another show canceled again amid UK entry ban
Kanye West’s concerts slated to happen in Switzerland and Poland were cancelled. It seems like other European nations are joining the UK in calling for a ban on West over his anti-Semitic remarks.
Swiss football club FC Basel told Reuters that they have decided not to allow the rapper to perform in the country. A club spokesperson shared, “We cannot, in accordance with our values, provide a platform for the artist in question within this context” (via The Guardian).
Similarly, on Friday, Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland, shared that they are looking to cancel West’s concert in June. Notably, this comes after the Polish culture ministry announced it was seeking to cancel West from performing in the country.

Adam Strzyżewski, venue director, shared in a press statement, “The concert by Ye (Kanye West), scheduled for June 19, 2026, at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium, will not take place due to formal and legal reasons.” Previously, the 48-year-old rapper postponed a show in Marseille, France following opposition from local authorities.
On April 8, Wireless Festival announced the cancellation of the music festival, as the rapper was banned from entering the country. As of writing, West is still slated to perform in Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, Madrid, and Portugal.
The hip hop icon released a statement expressing his regret. He shared, “My only goal is to come to London and present a show of change, bringing unity, peace, and love through my music. I would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with members of the Jewish community in the UK in person, to listen. I know words aren’t enough – I’ll have to show change through my actions. If you’re open, I’m here” (via CNN).
