Katie Couric celebrated her 12th wedding anniversary with John Molner on Father's Day
Couric shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute featuring a photo montage set to The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows"
The couple married in 2014, two years after they were set up by a friend
Katie Couric has a lot to celebrate!
The journalist and television presenter's 12th wedding anniversary with John Molner coincided with Father's Day over the weekend. In honor of the two special occasions, Couric, 69, posted a sweet tribute to her husband, 63, on Instagram on Sunday, June 21.
"Molner, you didn't think I'd let this day pass—the longest day of the year—without doing a mash-up of some of our greatest hits did you?" Couric captioned a compilation of photos of the couple over the years together, mixed with a few solo shots of Molner, with The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" playing in the background.

She continued, "Happy anniversary—the big 1-2–and Father's Day too! Can't wait to add more memories to our collection. And yes, God only knows what I'd be without you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 (Threw Margot [Robbie] and Richard [Marx] in there for fun 😉)."
"It wouldn't be an anniversary reel celebration without @therichardmarx and Margot Robbie," Molner joked in the comments section, referencing the two celebrity photos Couric snuck into the end of the video. "Happy anniversary Couric! 12 years… in a blink. I am a lucky, lucky guy. ❤️❤️."

The longtime couple were set up in 2012 after Couric asked a friend if she knew any single doctors. She recalled to PEOPLE in 2018, "In 2012 I was single, again, and I asked a friend of mine, Molly, who's husband is a trauma surgeon, if her husband knew any other doctors because I thought I'd like to go out with a doctor."
While Molly said no doctors she knew were on the market, she did suggest a certain banker and passed Couric's number along. Molner eventually gave Couric a call and asked her out. Couric later told PEOPLE, "What can I say, he had me at hello."

Couric married Molner during an intimate backyard wedding at her East Hampton, N.Y., home in 2014, over 15 years after she lost her first husband, Jay Monahan, to colon cancer in 1998.
Together, the pair have a blended family of four children. Molner has two children from a previous relationship, daughter Allie, 28, and son Henry, 31. Meanwhile, Couric is a mother to daughters Ellie, 34, and Carrie, 30, whom she welcomed with Monahan.
