Kourtney Kardashian’s former nanny Leah Barrs has recently addressed speculation that she had an intimate relationship with her husband, Travis Barker. Leah previously worked for Kourtney and her ex-husband Scott Disick from 2019 to 2022, where she looked after their three children, Mason (16), Penelope (14) and Reign (11).

However, in her latest appearance on Harry Jowsey’s podcast, Boyfriend Material, she has finally denied the rumors, clarifying that she was intimate with a single dad from another family that she had worked for.

Kourtney and Travis began dating in 2020 and tied the knot in 2022. They welcomed their first son Rocky in 2023. In the podcast, the former Kardashian nanny explained that the incident occurred with another single father many years ago, even before she started working for the Kardashian family.

Leah Barrs Revealed Details About The Incident on a Reality TV Series

According to Radar Online, the scandal was blown out of proportion after Leah Barrs revealed details of the incident to a fellow nanny on the reality TV series, Million Dollar Nannies while under the influence of alcohol.

The celebrity nanny said that the incident occurred when she was only 22 years of age and had recently moved to Los Angeles. Discussing the incident, she revealed to the host, “I did him a favor one night, and he came back from his event. The daughter was asleep. Technically, I’m clocked out. He is my friend. I’ve always thought he was hot. We hook up.”

However, unfortunately for Barrs, the nanny she had told about the incident went on to spread this information to everyone else, which turned into explosive gossip.

Things took a turn for the worse when the information also reached the family for whom Leah was working during that time, and they fired her from the job.

Recalling the incident, the Million Dollar Nannies star revealed in the podcast that the “real story” was far less dramatic than the version that was later circulated. She added, “It’s just something that was so insignificant, like so long ago that just got blown out of proportion.”

Leah Barrs also confessed that being fired from the job affected her deeply and she had an intense emotional breakdown throughout her appearance in the series. She said, “I was bawling. I cried episodes one through eight.”

How Did Leah Land Her Job With Kourtney Kardashian?

However, the former Kardashian nanny admitted that she should not have spoken about the incident on the show and should have remained silent about it. Barrs said, “It was my own fault. I should’ve just closed my mouth.”

In a previous interaction with The New York Post, Leah had revealed that she landed the job with Kourtney Kardashian because of sheer “fate.”

She recalled landing the job after being connected to The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star through a Los Angeles-based pastor. Leah Barrs said, “It was fate,” adding that the pastor asked her, “ I think you would be perfect for the position. Would you want to work for the Kardashians?’ I was like, ‘Holy s—. This is crazy! YES .”

However, she described her stint caring for Kourtney Kardashian’s children as a meaningful job rather than traditional babysitting work. She said, “Watching those kids was beyond nannying. I learned a lot about myself. Kourtney really taught me to be a better worker. Networking, being the best version of myself.”
