Meghan Markle’s UK move has reportedly come with unexpected challenges, as a new report claims the Duchess of Sussex is looking for extra security measures. According to the publication, Meghan has even turned to longtime friend Ellen DeGeneres for help finding a safe place if needed.

According to New Idea, Meghan Markle has been struggling since her UK move with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The News report claims the family has experienced a rise in security concerns following their relocation. A source alleged that Meghan has become increasingly worried about her family’s privacy after recent incidents. “Meghan’s not happy. She’s worried for their safety,” the insider claimed.

The source further alleged that the Duchess was distressed after her personal phone number reportedly circulated online. They also claimed she fears it is only a matter of time before the family’s address becomes public. According to the report, Meghan has allegedly written to parents at Archie and Lilibet’s new school, as well as neighboring schools. The reported message asked parents to photograph only their own children to help protect the family’s privacy.

The insider also claimed Meghan is on “high alert” and may already have emergency “grab-and-go” bags prepared. They further alleged she has been searching for a secure and discreet hotel where she and her children could stay if necessary.

According to the source, Meghan has sought advice from DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi. She reached out to the couple specifically because of their extensive knowledge of private, high-security properties. “Ellen knows all the A-list boltholes in the area,” the insider claimed, adding that Meghan trusts both Ellen and Portia. Neither Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Ellen DeGeneres, nor Portia de Rossi has publicly addressed the claims.
