Anne Hathaway put a fashionable spin on her baby bump while attending the Verity world premiere red carpet in New York City on Sept. 29
The actress stars as bestselling author Verity Crawford alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett

The 43-year-old actress, who is pregnant and expecting her third baby with husband Adam Shulman, took her maternity style to a new level while attending the New York world premiere for the psychological thriller on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Styled by Erin Walsh, Hathaway wore a black lace mermaid-cut gown with a sheer glittery cape detail, sourced from Prabal Gurung’s atelier collection. She accessorized with a diamond bracelet and teardrop-shaped earrings while attending the event held at AMC Lincoln Square 13.

For her glam, the actress opted for a simple bronze eye with a nude matte lip. She styled her long brunette hair in a half-up, half-down style.
Hathaway stars as author Verity Crawford alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. The Colleen Hoover movie adaptation, which is based on her 2018 novel of the same name, arrives in theaters on Oct. 2.

The film tells the story of struggling writer Lowen (Johnson), who is on the verge of financial ruin and lands a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to finish a successful series by the titular bestselling author Verity (Hathaway). Hartnett plays Verity’s husband, Jeremy.

Hathaway — who is already mom to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6 — first announced that she was pregnant in June and went on to show off her baby bump in a series of fashionable looks while promoting The Odysseyand The End of Oak Street.
She later revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in August that she and Shulman, 45, know the sex of their third baby but are “not saying.”

Hathaway has been bringing the maternity style to various red carpets in recent months given her booked and busy schedule (Verity marks her fifth film of 2026). “I’m excited. This is very, very fun. It’s extremely surreal,” she told PEOPLE in July of how she is feeling at this time in her life.
On Sept. 9, Hathaway appeared at Bulgari’s Serpenti Infinito event on Chelsea’s High Line in New York City.

Hathaway brought her signature elegance in a strapless lilac chiffon gown by McQueen and gold metallic heeled sandals. The star, who is an ambassador for the jewelry brand, also wore a sparkling Bulgari necklace with a deep purple gemstone.
She wore her long hair in a sleek blowout and added a pop of color with bold red lipstick.
The actress appeared in another bump-baring look as she was honored at the 2026 Disney Legends Awards ceremony during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 16.
She took the stage in a regal purple gown featuring Grecian-inspired draping and a cape by Aflalo, while her hair was styled with soft waves.
