Presley Gerber’s ex Charlotte D’Alessio speaks out after his death: ‘You deserved more life’

Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio shared a heartfelt tribute following his death.

The only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Geber died at age 27 on Sept. 20.

“We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it,” D’Alessio said, in part.

“Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life,” D’Alessio shared via Instagram Stories on Monday. “You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry [about] this.”

The model concluded, “Love u Pres. Up there, down here. Don’t ever doubt that. We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it.”

D’Alessio. who dated Gerber for about two years from 2018 to 2020, also shared various throwback photos and videos of the pair from their time together. In one clip, Gerber could be seen running toward a body of water with a dog following him. “I will always remember you this way,” she wrote.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed via Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records that Gerber died at 27 on Sept. 20 at a rehabilitation facility. “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” a rep for his parents Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and sister Kaia Gerber shared in a statement to EW. Per records, an autopsy was completed on Monday, but the cause of death has been deferred pending tests.

The Santa Monica Police Department announced Monday that the model’s death was being investigated as a suspected overdose.

Gerber’s friend Brooklyn Beckham also shared a social media tribute on Monday after news of the his death.

“Presley, you were the kindest,” he captioned a photo of them posted via Instagram Stories. “We’re going to miss you so much. X. We love you.”

Paris Hilton penned a lengthy message after Gerber’s death, writing that she would “cherish” the memories that they made together. The businesswoman added that she was “completely heartbroken” after hearing the news.

“I still can’t believe this is real,” she continued. “Presley, you were such a kind and beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine. I cared about you so much and I’m going to miss you more than words can say.”

Hilton’s tribute concluded: “The laughs, the conversations and just being around you. You had such a gentle heart and there was something so special about you that anyone who was lucky enough to know you could feel.”

Prior to his death, Gerber was open about his mental health and addiction struggles, often sharing inspirational messages with his social media followers. In a December 2025 Instagram post, which has since been deleted, he broke down his medication regimen, which included opiates, benzodiazepines, antidepressants, blood pressure medications and ketamine drips.

“I don’t know if it’s a little bit or a lot, who f---ing knows at this point anymore,” he said at the time. “All these doctors say a lot of different things, so it’s kind of scary, but hopefully between my research and their research and God, we can figure this out.”
