Royal siblings Prince William and Prince Harry remain estranged despite the Duke of Sussex's latest visit to British shores.
In August, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their return to the UK alongside their two young children, Archie and Lilibet. The pair relinquished their roles as working royals upon relocating to California in 2020, which purportedly sparked a rift between the brothers.
Passages from Harry's 2023 memoir Spare have resurfaced following their homecoming, including one explicit remark Prince William allegedly directed at Meghan during their initial meeting. This comes amid reports that Meghan Markle is getting a ‘beautiful’ reception after moving back to the UK.

Despite relocating back to the UK, the Sussexes have not seemingly mended fences with Prince William and Catherine, as the Prince and Princess of Wales are understood to be determined to sidestep any "drama" associated with Harry and Meghan's presence, reports the Express US.
One revealing passage from Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, disclosed the two-word profanity that Prince William purportedly uttered to Meghan Markle during the early stages of the royal pair's romance.

This breakdown represents a stark departure from the era when the two couples earned the nickname the Fab Four before Meghan and Harry's highly anticipated 2018 Windsor wedding.
Tensions are believed to have emerged between the brothers well before Harry's shocking choice to withdraw from royal responsibilities.
In his autobiography, Spare, Harry recounts the instance when he informed his brother and sister-in-law about his romance with Meghan in October 2016.
He wrote, "Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said: 'F-k off? I was baffled until Willy and Kate explained that they were regular - nay, religious - viewers of Suits. 'Great,' I thought, laughing. 'I've been worrying about the wrong thing."
"All this time I'd thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family, but now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph.'"

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have provided contrasting versions of how the two couples initially met.

During Harry and Meghan's engagement interview, the prince said, "William was longing to meet her, and so was Catherine. So, you know, being our neighbors, we managed to get that in a couple of - well, quite a few times now, and Catherine has been absolutely.."
Meghan interjected, "She's been wonderful."
Yet in their revealing Netflix series, Meghan characterized their initial encounter as "jarring."
She said, "When Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner. I remember I was in ripped jeans, and I was barefoot. I was a hugger."
Meghan continued, "I've always been a hugger, I didn't realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits. I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside.
"There is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and go 'You can relax now', but that formality carries over on both sides. And that was surprising to me."

Harry also recounted that first dinner in his memoir, Spare, describing how Meghan had prepared the meal and how the conversation had progressed smoothly, covering topics like Wimbledon and the legal drama Suits.
He said, "The only possibly discordant note I could think of was the marked difference in how the two women dressed, which both of them seemed to notice. Meg: ripped jeans, barefoot. Kate: done up to the nines. No big deal, I thought."
The brothers, once regarded as practically inseparable, are understood to have had zero communication since Harry's shocking departure from both the United Kingdom and his position as a senior working royal in 2020.
The duke relocated to Montecito, California, alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, beginning a fresh chapter where the couple pledged to pursue financial independence.
Throughout the last six years, the duo has taken part in multiple high-profile interviews with prominent personalities, including Oprah Winfrey, during which they shared their experiences within the Royal Family.
The couple also featured in their own Netflix documentary series, Finding Freedom, which chronicled their time as senior working royals.
