Sydney Sweeney reveals how she prepares for her most photographed moments
The White Lotus alum tells PEOPLE that she works closely with her glam squad to craft a cohesive look for each press tour
When she's not working, Sweeney says she loves to keep her fashion simple with jeans and T-shirts
Sydney Sweeney loves red carpet glam, but she loves the process of creating those moments even more.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE for her American Eagle denim campaign, the 27-year-old Euphoria star admits that while “comfy" is her go-to for fashion, she has “a lot of fun playing dress-up.”
“I love making moodboards, and I love when my team makes moodboards, too,” she says of how she prepares for her most photographed moments.

Sweeney tells PEOPLE her makeup artist Melissa Hernandez and hairstylist Glen “Coco” Oropeza are there every step of the way, along with her stylist Molly Dickson.
“So I'll make moodboards for each event or press tour of the vibe that I'm wanting to give for that press tour, and then Mel will make a fun moodboard for makeup ideas and Glen will make a fun moodboard for hair ideas,” she says.
“It's the brainstorming process that I really enjoy,” the Immaculate actress adds.
Sweeney likens her style moodboards to “making different art pieces with all the different looks.”
She enjoys “being able to see different art from different makeup artists or hairstyles that we're drawing inspiration from,” calling the undertaking “really fun.”

“But the moment I get that dress off, I'm back in my usual outfit,” Sweeney admits, which means slipping into T-shirts and jeans.
Though her style may evolve throughout the years, one thing remains constant: “I am still wearing jeans and a T-shirt and it makes me feel the most comfortable and the truest version of myself.”
“But I add a little flavor to it. I'll add cute belts or cute shoes and cute sunglasses or baseball caps and purses that kind of change up the outfit. So it's still the same look, but switch up the accessories,” she says.
