Sylvester Stallone spoke about how his daughter Scarlet, 24, appeared on alongside him in the first season of his TV show Tulsa King

Stallone says he didn’t offer his daughter any advice, adding that he now turns to his daughters for advice about modern media

His oldest daughter Sophia announced her engagement to Michael Sheehan in August

Sylvester Stallone’s daughter didn’t need any advice when acting alongside her dad.

While appearing at CBS Sunday Morning at 92NY: Sylvester Stallone in Conversation with Tracy Smith for his new book The Steps, the actor, 80, was asked about his daughter Scarlet, 24, guest starring on his television series Tulsa King. Stallone was asked by Smith if he had any advice for his daughter before the two went on set.

“Wow, you don’t give your daughter advice,” joked Stallone. “She gave me advice actually. She’s very like, daddy’s girl.”

“You feel so protective, obviously, right? And you, you are constantly,” he laughed. “So now I don’t suggest anything. She’s really grown up. All my daughters have grown up in this world, so they knew more than I do.”

“Seriously, it’s unbelievable how much media they absorb. So I go to them. I’m kind of like this old, cranky guy, and they’re right there. I can’t even tell you how excited and different she is, all of them, but they all have a very cinematic upbringing.”

Stallone shares his three daughters — Sophia, 30, Sistine, 28, and Scarlet, 24 — with wife Jennifer Flavin, and son Seargeoh, 47, with ex-wife Sasha Czack. The former couple’s son Sage died in 2012 at age 36.

In August, Stallone’s daughter Sophia announced her engagement to her boyfriend Michael Sheehan. In one photo, the actor’s oldest daughter could be seen hugging Sheehan as the two knelt on the ground, surrounded by candles and white roses.

Other shots showed the two on a balcony, turning around to smile at the camera. Sophia also included a photo of her ring as the two leaned in for a kiss. “Forever with my best friend ♾️,” Sophia captioned the post.
