Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot a little over a month ago, and the biggest adjustment in their marriage is about their pets. While the couple seems to have adjusted easily, an insider has claimed that the same cannot be said of their fur babies. Sources have said that the popstar’s cats are taking their time to adjust to Kelce’s dog.

Taylor Swift has three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has a fluffy, white Samoyed dog. The couple’s marriage has allegedly presented their pets with the biggest challenge of adjusting to each other. “Taylor and Travis are doing great,” an insider told Naughty But Nice‘s Rob Shuter. “Ironically, it’s the animals having the hardest time blending their families. The humans figured it out much faster.”

Sources said that Swift’s cats are not very happy about Kelce’s dog’s entry into their abode after years of having the place to themselves. The little dog is eager to make new friends, but the cats reportedly do not feel the same way.

“The dog wants to play every minute of the day, while the cats want peace, quiet, and personal space,” another source told Naughty But Nice. “It’s like watching three tiny divas negotiate a peace treaty.” The NFL star and his Grammy-winning wife are allegedly being patient with the pets. They are giving their furry family members time to adjust at their own pace and showering them with attention.

“Nobody is worried,” one insider said. “They all end up in the same room eventually. It may not be cuddling yet, but they’re making progress every week. The pets are taking longer to fall in love than Taylor and Travis did.” According to the insider, the newlywed couple has “already found their rhythm” and is waiting for their pets to “catch up.”
