Jordan Eubanks reflects on his time on The Hills as a "crazy" experience that opened doors for him
Eubanks and Brian Drolet avoided exclusive contracts, allowing them to retain rights to their appearances on the show
Eubanks says he would love a reunion with the cast and still gets recognized for his viral moments
Jordan Eubanks would love to go back to The Hills. The reality TV star, father and founder of a sports memorabilia company tells PEOPLE that his experience on the show was "crazy."
Eubanks says that when he and Brian Drolet joined the show in 2006, they were "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed guys thinking that we were gonna make all these movies" after moving to Los Angeles.
"We had so many plans, and then The Hills was a curveball for us. It came out of nowhere," Eubanks shares. "We fell into the crowd; it was crazy."
On the show, Eubanks dated Heidi Montag until their split at the end of season 1.

The 41-year-old says that he and Drolet, who are still "best friends" 20 years later, were "in a unique position" once the first season ended because they "didn't really sign those exclusive contracts with The Hills."
"We did pretty much day work for them. We would film every day, but we virtually got paid nothing, and because of that, we were able to own our rights," Eubanks says.
The pair went on to "make a couple of movies" and explore "a lot of creative endeavors," and now work together at Eubanks' memorabilia company, LightHeaded.

When Eubanks looks back on his season of The Hills, he says, "I just think I was blessed."
"I think The Hills gave me a platform, and it certainly opened the doors for me to a lot of different people, and I formed a lot of different relationships."

The Hills premiered in 2006 and followed the personal lives of Montag, Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Brody Jenner and Whitney Port. It also featured Spencer Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Jason Wahler, Stephanie Pratt, Justin Brescia, Frankie Delgado and Kristin Cavallari.
Eubanks says he "would totally love" to be part of a potential reunion, and was "a little bummed that when they did that for 10 years, they didn't invite us, me and Brian."
"What's so funny to me is that we still get recognized. Well, Brian gets recognized a lot. I look a little different," he shares. "My hair is the same. I still have this Jimmy Neutron, Johnny Bravo hair look going on."
Regardless, he says that both he and Drolet are "still kind of chummy with everybody."
"We never really had bad blood with anybody. We were on good terms with everybody. I would love to see everybody, and I just think it would make for great television," he says of a potential 20-year reunion.
"Every year, that clip of me falling, coming out the door, and slipping, goes viral. Every single year," he laughs. "I have hundreds of people tagging me on it on Instagram."
While The Hills was known to get a bit tense at times, Eubanks says he "always looked at Brian and myself as the comic relief of that show," which could be needed at a reunion.
"I'd love to get back together with everybody. I think it would be hilarious if you bring out all the main cast and obviously Spencer, Brody, Justin Bobby, and everybody, and then at the very end, 'Oh, by the way, we brought these two knuckleheads back.' "
"I just think it would be funny. People would be like, 'Oh my God, those two,'" he continues. "Because we were on the first season, and it wasn't like we were little small parts. We own every episode of every show."
