Travis Kelce was all smiles as he greeted Sombr at the Songwriter's Hall of Fame induction.

In a clip shared on X, the NFL star, 36, was spotted giving Sombr, 20, a huge hug after the singer performed in honor of Kelce's fiancée Taylor Swift, who became the youngest-ever woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 11.

It's unclear what Kelce and Sombr, whose real name is Shane Boose, are saying to each other backstage at the ceremony in the clip, but both greeted each other with big smiles and shared multiple hugs and handshakes.

"Travis loves and appreciates everyone who loves and appreciates Taylor and it's literally my favorite thing in the world," a popular X account dedicated to Swift and Kelce wrote. "And you can tell it's genuine, not put on at all," another fan said in a reply.

Sombr covered Swift's hits "Dear John" and "Cardigan" in honor of her induction. During her speech, Swift spoke highly of the "back to friends" singer, thanking him for his "perfect performance" and commending his songwriting skills.

"His writing is so exceptional that it makes me actually envious," she said. "I love that feeling. He's going to be the top of my Spotify Wrapped this year, guaranteed. It's locked, it's in the bag."

Swift added of Sombr, "A lot of late-night debates with my friends about the state of the music industry involve me stating very loudly, 'Sombr is the future, and he does it all on his own, and he doesn't need AI. The kids are fine,' " before going on to describe him as a "very well-adjusted person."

Swift's soon-to-be mother-in-law Donna Kelce was also in attendance to support the 14-time Grammy winner at her Hall of Fame induction. In videos from the evening, Donna is seen sitting with her son, Swift, and the singer's mom Andrea, while Swift's brother Austin sat a few seats down.

Kelce attended the ceremony in New York City after completing Chiefs' mandatory minicamp earlier in the day. After a weekend in the city with his fiancée, Kelce darted over to Los Angeles, Calif., with his brother Jason to host a live taping of New Heights at the Orpheum Theatre on Monday, June 12.
