An update on Jake Hall's death leaves British authorities with more questions than answers.

*The Only Way Is Essex *star died at age 35 on May 6 following a night out in Majorca, Spain. His body was returned to the United Kingdom, where authorities conducted an autopsy.

However, coroner Nadia Persaud said that investigators could not determine a cause of death after conducting the autopsy, according to the BBC. Persaud requested that Spanish authorities provide the toxicology report, police reports, and witness statements as the investigation continues.

Hall is survived by his 8-year-old daughter, River, whom he shared with his ex and Bravo's *Ladies of London: New Reign* star Missé Beqiri. The pair was engaged in 2018 before ending their relationship.

Following news of his death, Beqiri's rep told ** that “at this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss."

"The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately,” the statement concluded.

ITV, which distributed *TOWIE*, also shared a statement: "Jake was a part of the *TOWIE* family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his friends and family following today's very sad news."

The fashion, art, and music entrepreneur joined the cast of the long-running reality series in 2015. *TOWIE* showcases the lives of a glamorous group of young people in Essex.

Hall was found dead at a villa in Santa Margalida and reportedly suffered severe head injuries in an incident authorities investigated as "an accidental death." *The Sun* reported at the time that officers said inquiries were focused on the theory that the 6-foot-4 star smashed his head through a glass door after a night of partying. He was reportedly found in a pool of blood with fatal head wounds allegedly caused by shards of glass.

A source added, "Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting. It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed."

A few days prior to his death, Hall shared some inspirational words about the beauty of following your passions.

"When you do right and it still goes wrong, you don’t run from it — you own it. That’s why I come back to my art. Turning pain into something you can look at… something you can feel… something beautiful," he shared via Instagram on April 30. "We all go through it. The question is — what do you give back? Pain… or beauty? I know what I choose."
