Josh Segarra is willing to step into the wrestling ring for a biopic.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE to discuss his new Fox series Best Medicine, the actor, 39, opens up about his love for wrestling and reveals the wrestler he would most want to play on-screen, if the opportunity arose.

"If I ever had a chance and they would let me, let me take on Scott Hall. Let me take on Razor Ramon, Mucho Machismo," Segarra says, referring to the athlete, his nickname and the phrase heavily associated with him.

"Let me wear the gold chains, and let me sit in that Cadillac. I would love to. Let me wet the hair. Let me get the curl in the back. Let me start the nWo [New World Order]. ... That's my guy right there," he continues.

Hall, who died at age 63 in 2022 following health complications after hip surgery, was a two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee.

He was also the founding member of the nWo, a group that also included Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

While Hollywood hasn't called him up to play a wrestler just yet, Segarra is getting plenty of wrestling practice in with his three sons — Gus, 9, Hank, 5, and Bo, 2 — whom he shares with his wife, Brace Rice.

According to Segarra, there's "a lot of wrestling" going on in his house right now.

"I'll walk in from the door [and hear], 'Daddy, Daddy, are you doing something right now?' I'll be like, 'No, not right now.' They're like, 'Do you think we can wrestle downstairs?' I'm like, 'Yeah, let's go wrestle,' " Segarra tells PEOPLE with a laugh.

The Sirens star says his passion for acting stems from his love of TV and wrestling. "I'm a big fan of our business, and I grew up watching television. Some of my favorite memories as a kid are watching TGIF and watching SNICK and sitting on the couch with my parents and watching America's Funniest Home Videos and Married with Children," he says.

Segarra also recalls that he grew up "imitating my favorite wrestler of the time, Macho Man Randy Savage," and he still loves getting to do physical comedy.

In Best Medicine, Segarra gets to flex those physical comedy muscles from time to time, including tackling series star Josh Charles in the show's third episode.

"My favorite actor is Chris Farley, and he's, to me, the most Mount Rushmore of physical comedians that have ever lived," Segarra says.

"And that puts me back in my bedroom when I was 10 years old, doing the Tommy Boy monologue ... That puts me in my mirror imitating Jim Carrey from Ace Ventura," he continues. "Oh, yeah, I grew up dreaming of doing this."

The Abbott Elementary actor adds: "When I'm at work, and I get to really click into that, I get to remember what it was like dreaming of this when I was 10."

New episodes of Best Medicine air Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. EST on Fox. Episodes stream the next day on Hulu.
